In 102 posts about Muse and competing tools, OpenAI was named most often (32 posts), followed by Google / Gemini (28) and Claude (15). The posts show different levels of switching: 24 claimed a direct switch or reduced use of another tool, 6 expressed intent to switch, and 60 compared Muse with another tool on a task. Some of those comparisons described choosing Muse for that task, even without claiming a broader switch. The remaining 12 contained softer signals of relative or provisional use.
A separate sample of 440 Muse tasks produced 206 mentions across the categories shown, including 34 secondary tasks. Retail and shopping led with 61 mentions, followed by travel (51) and banking and finance (32). Healthcare had 16; dining and delivery 13; telecom and utilities 12; insurance 12; and subscriptions 9.
One report describes an AT&T bill cut; earlier audited posts describe Comcast bill reductions and a Spectrum cancellation. Other examples include an Amazon purchase through Muse, Whole Foods and Costco orders, an Amex Travel booking, and a prescription order after contacting One Medical.
